About Twas the Text Before Christmas

In Twas the Text Before Christmas, Meritt Patterson stars as Addie, an overworked chiropractor from New York City. Addie receives a text message from Nana, a stranger who transposes her granddaughters phone number and gets Addie by mistake.

When Nana Facetimes Addie to apologize for her mistake, a connection is formed and the two start communicating. Not wanting to pass up the opportunity to have a nice girl like Addie meet her son James (Donovan), Nana invites Addie to join them for the holiday.

Addie travels to Vermont to meet Nana and her family, including James who is a traveling doctor who spends his time outside the US. The holidays are a special time for James to be home, spend time with his family, and enjoy the charm of his hometown.

Twas the Text Before Christmas follows Addie and James for three holidays, as Addie's visit to Vermont becomes an annual event.

My Review

Twas the Text Before Christmas is a sweet, light, and enjoyable Christmas movie. It's not one that is going to move you to tears, as it's not emotionally moving like that. Instead, this movie delivers an upbeat, feel-good story that is just right for the holidays. And of course, you can never go wrong with Merritt and Trevor.
