New Judges for So You Think You Can Dance

There used to be one bright note in the summer TV schedule and that was So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) on Fox. I love this show and the talent that it has. From the choreographers to the dancers, this show had depth and dimension. Now comes the news that long-time judge Mary Murphy is out and has been replaced by Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo. I'll give the show a chance, but I have to say that I'm not looking forward to it as much as I was just a few days ago. Sure, Mary's high-pitched voice could get on your nerves once in a while, but she brought such emotion and enthusiasm to the show. The show has lost a lot of it's choreographers in recent years too, so I just wonder how much more change the show can handle without going under.
